Kailasa, The Abode of Love is managed by Sai Manav Vikas Seva Trust. Sai Manav Vikas Seva Trust is a charitable not for profit Trust established and registered under The Indian Trust Act, 1882 and is registered under Section 12A of The Income Tax Act, 1961 and Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Trust is also registered with NGO DARPAN.
Aims and Objectives:
The trust is wholly service orientated and functions without any profit motive. The Trust’s Main Objectives are to set up a centre for:
Bringing together like-minded people to create a self-sufficient and sustainable centre that promotes the development and growth of neighbouring community in a spirit of love, harmony and poverty alleviation.
Activities:
The main activities of the Trust are:
1. Organic Farming of fruits, vegetables, grains, herbs, spices, flowers;
2. Dairy Farming;
3. Healing Centre based on natural healing systems like Ayurveda, Naturpathy, Reiki, etc;
4. School of Higher Wisdom for reviving human values, ancient scriptures and lost sciences;
5. Conduct residential programs and retreats for holistic living;
6. Setting up, running and maintaining a green, natural and sustainable facility;
7. A retreat facility for the Elders;
8. A centre for Universal Consciousness and Love;
9. A bio diversity reserve and an animal sanctuary;
10. A centre for processing tea, foods, spices, oils, soaps and other local natural materials;
11. Skills Development Centre for the enhancement of Indian culture and social empowerment;
12. To receive contributions in both Indian and Foreign Currency from Indians as well as foreign nationals for the use and fulfilment of the aims and objectives of the foundation;
Hitherto, the SAI MANAV VIKAS SEVA TRUST has focussed primarily on creating a knowledge base and dissemination of ancient Vedantic wisdom (as per activity number 4 above) relevant to the present modern-day context as well as conducting seminars, retreats and sessions for promoting Universal Consciousness and meditation. The Trust has been engaged in conducting training camps on natural farming and organic farming in Nilgiris. The Trust has also conducted Holistic healing workshops and camps for promotion, sustenance of the indigenous healing practices of Nilgiris and traditional healing methodologies.
We are now ready to implement the next and the most important phase of setting up an International Centre as envisaged in the main Aims and Objectives of the Trust to carry out all the planned activities of the Trust as detailed above.
We now propose to raise funds and resources from India and Overseas to construct, set up and establish the Centre that shall showcase, demonstrate, inspire and promote a self-sufficient, self-sustainable and, a harmonious lifestyle of conscious living based on love, equality and interconnectedness of all life forms, for poverty alleviation, as per the Vedantic principle of One Earth, One Family (Vasudaiva Kutumbukam).
